WHAT TOURISTS SAY
Many other cyclists from all over the world have done the experience of biking Tuscany.
Here you find some Review of People who have done it.
Jenny, from Florida
“An interesting place for its culture: art, architecture, etc. We visited Pisa and Florence, We visited Signoria Square and its 14th-century town hall, Ponte Vecchio, Dante’s House, Il Duomo, and Santa Croce where Michelangelo, Galileo and Dante are buried. We had time for lunch and shopping on our own. Highly recommended!”
A couple from Malta
“Greve Chianti , Radda Chianti, S Gimignano and Poggibonsi , we enjoyed to visit the countryside and tasting some lovely wine and food.”
Mark, from Atlanta
“We just returned from our Bicycle Tuscany trip and loved it! The total ride was 13 miles, but there was only one stretch that was somewhat hilly, and given what the terrain looks like in Tuscany, that is a blessing.”
Mary and jane, from Berlin
“We enjoyed to ride and taste Tuscany. The route was very nice: Hill, countryside, Maremma, Monuments, medieval villages. We recommend to everyone to do trip in Tuscany. Lovely!”
From Silver Spring
“We just returned from the Tuscany tour. I can’t say enough good things. The hotels were great. The country was great. The people were great. The bikes were great. The hills were… well they were hills. Excellent bang for your buck. I would do it again (as soon as I can walk).”
John and Jenny, from Canada
“We spent one week around wine road of Chianti, joining wine taste and bicyle tour.
They are very well-organized! Bike, b&b, food, attractions. All the whole unforgettable!”
From Asia
“Every street has something to offer. The churchesand chapels , big and small, have atleast one painting by a great master. In the evenings there is entertainment in the streets in the piazzas. Almost all the famous places are walking distance. The hills around the city also have much to offeri ncluding an old Roman amphitheatre.
It all depends what you want to do. The eating places are varied with ‘real’ Italian food as well as Macdonalds to choose from
Everywhere you tread on Historyfrom the street where Dante spied his Beatrice to the flea markets that have exsisted for centuries. Something many tourists missout, something you shouldn’t unlessyou have no love of English Literature is the English/protestant cemetry where rest so many English poets and writers who went to Florence to escape the English weather, Elizabeth Barrette Browning being one of them.
Getting into the Uffici Palace ,unless you book ,can be time consuming as the ques are ever so long but even the wait can be fun. The square is full of artists who will do your portrait or paint a little picture of one of the Florencian land marks while you wait.
Its one of those cities where you don’t need to be entertained.”
